Yawen Han, Ph.D., Doctoral Supervisor, Postdoctoral Supervisor, and Visiting Scholar at Michigan State University (USA) and the University of Warwick (UK), specializes in language policy, internationalization in higher education, and second language acquisition. He has authored over 50 research articles in key domestic and international journals such as Language Policy, Current Issues in Language Planning, Journal of Multilingual and Multicultural Development, Foreign Languages and Their Teaching, and Foreign Language Education, and has undertaken multiple research projects funded by the National, Ministry of Education, Provincial and university-level philosophy and social science programs. He is the executive director of Research Center on Language Policy for Asia-Pacific Countries in Jiangsu Province. He is a research fellow of China Center for Linguistic and Strategic Studies (CCLASS) and China Center for Language Planning and Policy Studies (RCFLS). He has served as the editorial board member for Current Issues in Language Planning (SSCI-Indexed) since 2021.
