His research focuses on language testing and assessment, with particular interests in dynamic assessment, paraphrase task research, English education quality monitoring, and AI-empowered foreign language assessment. He received his Ph.D. from Beijing Normal University, completed postdoctoral research at Zhejiang University, and was a visiting scholar at Peking University. He also serves as an anonymous reviewer for international journals in the field of language testing. He has led nine research projects, including those funded by the National Social Science Fund of China, the Ministry of Education, and provincial-level agencies. He has published more than ten papers in SSCI- and CSSCI-indexed journals and has authored or co-authored five books and textbooks. He was awarded the Second Prize and Third Prize in university-level teaching competitions.
